All Things Blooming, Where Art is Combined with Thoughtful Design
***Note my shop will be on vacation December 17 - December 30 so I can spend time with my family.***
Grateful for each and every day I am able to create beautiful things that are useful and meaningful.
The Cancer Research Center in Lancaster, Ohio, where I dropped off my first batch of chemotherapy hats, had lots of crocheted hats but they desperately needed headbands and sewn hats.
Putting my design degree and sewing knowledge together, I knew I could design hats that were more comfortable, attractive and more reasonably priced than the turban with a pinchy elastic band that the Cancer Center had on display. With encouragement from the shop keeper and several failed attempts, I finally came up with a comfy hat.
And now I'm focusing on the art and design of handmade hats and things.
